Teixeira hurt the shoulder when he dove for a ball Tuesday, and he aggravated the injury on another dive Wednesday. He was replaced by Eric Chavez late in the game. Yankees manager Joe Girardi said no tests were planned at this time, so it sounds like this is a day-to-day thing.
